Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Xcademia X-Ray platform at xcademiaxray.com (the "Platform"). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.
"Xcademia", "we", "us", or "our" refers to Xcademia Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 12322710), with its registered office at 60 Tottenham Court Road, London, W1T 2EW.
"You" or "your" refers to the individual or entity accessing or using the Platform.
"Platform" refers to the Xcademia X-Ray capability intelligence platform, accessible at xcademiaxray.com and any associated subdomains, mobile applications, or APIs.
"Assessment" refers to the AI-powered capability diagnostic process, including CV analysis, question generation, response evaluation, and report generation.
"Report" refers to the capability diagnostic report generated through the Platform.
You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Platform. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
If you are using the Platform on behalf of an organisation, you represent and warrant that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
To access certain features of the Platform, you must create an account. You agree to:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe to be fraudulent, in breach of these Terms, or created using false or misleading information, including disposable email addresses.
The Platform offers the following subscription tiers:
New Pro subscribers may be eligible for a free trial period. You must provide valid payment card details to start a free trial. At the end of the trial period, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid annual subscription unless you cancel before the trial expires. Each individual is entitled to one free trial per email address.
If you are not satisfied with the Platform, you may request a refund within 14 days of your initial purchase (or as required by the consumer protection laws of your jurisdiction). Refund requests should be sent to info@xcademia.com. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Prices may be exclusive of applicable taxes (including VAT, GST, or sales tax). You are responsible for any taxes applicable to your purchase based on your jurisdiction of residence.
Xcademia X-Ray is an AI-powered capability intelligence platform. It diagnoses skills gaps, maps capability against recognised frameworks, and prescribes role-based learning pathways. The Platform provides:
Reports are delivered within 5 to 7 business days from completion of the assessment. This timeframe includes AI diagnostic processing and human specialist review. Delivery timeframes are estimates and are not guaranteed.
The Platform provides capability assessments and educational guidance. It does not provide:
Assessment results represent a point-in-time diagnostic based on the information you provide. Results may vary depending on the quality and completeness of your inputs.
The X-Ray Certified credential is issued by Xcademia and is not a government, professional body, or industry certification. It evidences completion of a capability diagnostic process, not formal qualification.

The Platform, including its design, code, AI models, question banks, knowledge bases, algorithms, reports, branding, and all content created by or on behalf of Xcademia, is the intellectual property of Xcademia Ltd. All rights are reserved.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Platform without our prior written consent.
You retain ownership of the content you provide to the Platform (including your CV and assessment responses). By submitting content, you grant Xcademia a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, process, store, and analyse your content solely for the purposes of providing the service and improving the Platform (in anonymised form).
Reports generated by the Platform are provided for your personal or organisational use. You may share your individual report with prospective employers or your current employer. You may not resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit reports.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by applicable law.
If you are a consumer in the European Union, United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protection laws, your statutory rights are not affected by these Terms.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Xcademia Ltd, its directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
You may close your account at any time by contacting us at info@xcademia.com. Closure of your account does not entitle you to a refund of any pre-paid subscription fees, except as required by applicable law.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time if:
Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law) will continue to apply.
To maintain the integrity of the assessment process, the Platform may implement measures including but not limited to:
If we determine that you have attempted to manipulate or compromise the assessment process, we reserve the right to invalidate your results, revoke any issued credentials, and terminate your account without refund.
Where you use the Platform under an enterprise or team subscription procured by your employer or organisation, additional terms may apply as set out in the relevant enterprise agreement. In the event of conflict between these Terms and an enterprise agreement, the enterprise agreement prevails.
Enterprise clients acknowledge that assessment data for their employees may be aggregated and presented in team heatmaps, budget reports, and executive summaries as part of the enterprise service.
The Platform integrates with third-party services including payment processors, AI providers, hosting providers, and analytics tools. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices or content of third-party services.
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, acts of government, war, terrorism, strikes, internet or telecommunications failures, or third-party service outages.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a prominent notice on the Platform at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Platform and close your account.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence. Nothing in these Terms affects your rights as a consumer under the mandatory consumer protection laws of your jurisdiction.
For users in the United States, you agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any applicable enterprise agreement, constitute the entire agreement between you and Xcademia with respect to the Platform and supersede all prior agreements, communications, and proposals.
